Zirconia，with its molecular formula of ZrO2, is the main oxide of zirconium. Natural minerals containing zirconium mainly include incline zircon and zircon and so on. Zirconia is usually a white odorless and tasteless crystal, insoluble in water, hydrochloric acid and dilute sulfuric acid, chemically stable, and features high hardness, high melting point, high resistivity, high refractive index and low thermal expansion coefficient characteristics, has been widely used in wet-resistant ceramics, refractory materials, machinery, electronics, optics, aerospace, biology, chemistry and other fields. The ceramic materials feature low density and high values of mechanical properties such as hardness, Young's modulus, and strength.
